I am currently the laziest human being on earth. I have just spent the past two weeks lounging on the couch reading and pottering around the kitchen. I’m finally free of the shackles of study and I intend to enjoy every last lazy second of it. So hopefully you will be seeing more of me again. As my welcome back present to you, I’m sharing my new favourite creamy pear smoothie recipe.
If you are not a fan of banana then you will be glad to know that this smoothie is 100 percent banana-less.
Instead, the recipe calls for oats. Oats help create the creamy, thick texture of the smoothie and also fill you up.
Creamy pear smoothie:
- 1 pear, chopped
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- a handful of spinach
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 Tbsp vanilla protein powder (or 1 tsp vanilla essence)
- a generous handful of oats
Place everything in your blender, then blend it for about a minute.
